Tara Kilgore

Tara is a seasoned financial leader with years of experience in helping technology companies ready their accounting functions for rapid growth. As VP of Finance at PowerGEM, she is responsible for managing all aspects of corporate services – finance, accounting, HR, legal, and compliance. Prior to joining PowerGEM in December 2023, Tara served as Financial Controller and then Director of Accounting and Tax for CRM and project management software provider JobNimbus.

She began her career in corporate accounting with Witness Systems, a leader in customer intelligence and workforce optimization software. During her eight-year tenure with the software company, she was a key member of the finance and management team, helping to define key policies, procedures, and processes critical in scaling the business from $25 million to $228 million and a successful exit via acquisition by Verint Systems, Inc. valued at $950 million.

Tara is an avid volunteer in her community and is the founding board member and president of the NashWest Chapter of the Young Men's Service League. YMSL provides leadership opportunities for young men and gives them the opportunity to make a direct community impact by serving throughout the city alongside their mothers. She holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Clemson University and an MBA from Georgia State University.

Tara resides in Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband, three sons, and two dogs.
